Around August every year there is the Perseid Meteor shower, luckily there was some good conditions to capture them. I headed up to the Mither Tap hill to get away from the lights of the towns and try capture the shower. The conditions were perfect, the sky's were nice and clear and it wasnt too cold either! Actually capturing a photo of them wasn't so easy as they randomly appear anywhere in the sky, so I was patient until 3 of them eventually appeared for this shot.
Dublin is one of my favourite cities to explore at night, the mix of old and new architecture together with the lights that add interest around every corner. This is one of the many bridges that cross the river liffey that runs through the city, the Samuel Beckett bridge opens in an unconventional way to allow ships to pass as it rotates 90 degrees like a door.
The sky was full of colour just as the sun was coming up, I liked how the wet sand reflected the oranges and reds.
