There has been some stormy weather recently in Scotland and the shores are filled with foam. This tree had been washed up on the stormy sea, just a few minutes after taking this shot a huge wave came onto the beach and I had to run to the banks off the beach to avoid getting soaked.
This is a lough up in the Wicklow hills in Ireland, the water was very still and it created a nice mirror effect. There were some ominous clouds heading towards us though.
I hiked up Bennachie nice and early, it was really cloudy so I wasn't expecting a particularly good sunrise but luckily the sun shone through the clouds and a beautiful purple color filled the sky. The mists in the low lands where lit up with a hue of purple too.
